Hastelloy C22 wire, a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy, contains about 56% nickel, 22% chromium, 13% molybdenum, and trace amounts of tungsten, cobalt and iron giving it exceptional resistance to oxidation and corrosion especially in acidic environments. Mechanical properties include high tensile strength and good ductility, with a typical yield strength of around 60 ksi (414 MPa) and an ultimate tensile strength of 110 ksi (758 MPa) Some of the advantages of Hastelloy C22 wire and excellent resistance to pitting and crack corrosion, making it ideal for harsh chemical refinery environments
